Mindmaps

How the canvas, nodes, and edges work.

Structure

A mindmap is a directed acyclic graph. The central node is the video itself; first-level branches are the chapters or themes; deeper levels are sub-concepts the agent extracted from the transcript.

Canvas tools

  • Hand (H) — pan the canvas.
  • Pointer (V) — select and drag nodes.
  • Draw (D) — freehand annotation, persisted via CRDT.
  • Sticky (S) — add a sticky note (collaboration only).
  • Laser (L) — ephemeral pointer trail for live presentations.
  • Eraser (E) — erase drawings or stickies.
